With your generous $1,000 Hope Sponsorship we are able to continue our work to transform the lives of at risk children through the healing power of family. Olive Crest believes the family is the ultimate source of hope and lasting change. In a positive family environment, children not only heal, but begin to thrive.
Your generosity allows us to provide safe and loving homes to children like Marissa.
Marissa was 10 years old when she lost her mother on Mother’s Day. She endured constant abuse from her father. When the police arrived at her home, Marissa never imagined her life would change so drastically. After living with five foster families, Marissa found she would soon be meeting yet another new family; an Olive Crest family. Although scared by the thought her new family would not like her, Marissa found she had nothing at all to worry about. Her new family welcomed her with open arms, and Marissa realized she not only had a new mom and dad, but a new brother and sister, too! After living with her family for almost a year, Marissa knew in her heart this new family was not going to be just another foster family. This family adopted Marissa and made her part of their forever family!
